Le Brûloir

Hi friends!

The Indie Coffee Passport is coming to an end in just a few days. I’ve almost finished my visits for this year and am so excited to share all of the discoveries in the coming weeks – better late than never right?! 

Today I’m excited to share one of my favourite spots – Le Brûloir. This cozy café is located in Ahuntsic, just a short bus ride away from metro Sauvé, or a short 15 min drive from downtown. This café was also on the list last year and I still consider it to be one of my favourites!

The food is always amazing at this café. I arrived just after lunch time with my coffee buddy C, but most of the food was already gone to my dismay!! I ended up ordering a chicken panini with kim chi in it. It was so creative and I was pleasantly surprised with the spicy and the cheesy flavours bursting in my mouth!!!

The coffee is absolutely delicious. I had an equally balanced cappuccino with the perfect ratio of milk to espresso and just the right creamy smoothness. We sat on the patio and sipped our coffee after our lunch. I finished my cup so fast - a true testament to what a great café this is!

Can't wait to come back and visit again!
