Moroccan Chicken Tagine

I am obsessed with this Moroccan Chicken recipe by Erren's Kitchen. I added a table spoon of Harissa paste (from Trader Joe's) and also some cherry tomatoes and chickpeas. Cannot wait to make this again! 

Ground Central

I've passed by a few different Ground Central locations around midtown and finally had a chance to try the coffee here! I loved the cozy vibes with the large couch and large wooden table allowing plenty of space to work if needed. There is also plenty of high top seating at the Grand Central location. Each of their 10 locations has NYC themed decor and wall art along with plenty of books, making it feel like you're sitting in someone's home office or living room! Highly recommend this spot for a coffee and pastry!

New York Botanical Gardens: 2024 Orchid Show

I often like to play tourist in my own city, and the Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Gardens was on my bucket list this spring! This year's theme was Florals in Fashion and showcased gorgeous floral designs dreamed up by designers. Sharing some of my favourite photos here! 

Dreamers Coffee House

I found another cozy cafe in Chinatown called Dreamers. This a beautiful little spot is nestled on Henry Street and just a few steps away from my favourite dumpling spot - Jin Mei. I was craving an Americano with a bit of soy milk and it hit the spot on this cloudy spring day. I was pleasantly surprised to see how busy it was, and luckily wasn't in too much of a hurry! Definitely plan to come back here again when I'm in Chinatown!
