Recent Outfits: Business Casual

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you all had a lovely weekend! Here is a recap of my outfits from last week.

I would classify my office as business casual but every once in a while I throw on a more conservative outfit for a meeting. If I can't remember my schedule (usually on Mondays) I always dress a little more conservative in case I have any meetings and I always keep a blazer at my desk just in case!

I love this blue and white dress by BCBG but it has a low cut top which I find a bit too revealing for the office. I decided to wear a crew neck sweater to keep myself cozy and comfortable in the office. I could easily dress it up with a blazer if I had a meeting. I love this dress because it's super comfortable and has pockets (huge plus) but can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

Every Wednesday I wear black and white since I sing in my church choir in the evenings after work. The dress code is business casual or "Sunday Best" for church. I like to see what combinations I can come up with given this strict 'uniform'. Nobody at the office has noticed my Black and White theme on Wednesdays yet....I wonder how long until someone catches on! My top is about 5 years old from Forever 21. It's one of those hidden gems that I always forget about and rediscover after a long time!

Navy and coral is one of my favourite spring time colour combinations. I'm wearing pants by the Limited and a top from TJ Maxx. My cardigan is by Tommy Hilfiger. This dress pant, blouse and cardigan look is my "uniform". I resort to this formula when I am not sure what to wear!!

Last but not least - my casual Friday look! We officially have a "summer dress code" in force at the office now so I wanted to take advantage of it especially because I was heading to the airport right after work. The maxi skirt (from Charlotte Russe) is flowy for the hot summer weather but also keeps my legs warm on the plane.
